My name is Jessica, a thirty something mother of 2 girls, and a wife of 5 years to my husband, Dustin. I am on a journey to find Fulfillment in my Every Day Life. I desire for my thoughts, values, life, and viewpoints to all be filtered through my love for God and my family.
I am a perfectionist procrastinator. Or in other words, a planner that does nothing, unless I have the perfect plan and the time and energy to do it perfectly. Which means, it often doesn’t get done. Then the guilt and “why can’t I ever make any progress” come in to play on repeat in my head.
What this looks like in my house is notebooks and planners full of ideas and goals and to-do list that stare at me and chant my name, taunting me, and my inability to complete them. I’m thinking about setting them on fire, but it’s currently summer. So, it’s just too hot.
I feel like I’m in a constant state of overwhelm, due to all these ideas running through my mind. Most of which don’t get checked off. Instead, I usually add to the running list throughout the weeks and months that pass by.
What you will find here is a mom that is on a journey to drop the overwhelm of all the things “I should be doing” and find fulfillment in everyday life. Living Life on Purpose, steering it in the direction I want to go. A direction I will be proud of at the end of my life.
I don’t want to go it alone. Come Along!
Here, together, we will go from our state of overwhelm – all the things we think we “should” be doing, constantly searching for or purpose, our ideas, and goals that are adding up, instead of getting checked off, and we will find and cross the bridge to fulfillment. Fulfilling your life’s purpose, one of intention, of love, of checking off those things that matter. At the end of the day you are going to look back and say “well, it wasn’t perfect, but I walked in Love. I made a difference and blessed my family.”
I am determined to make it, and I want to take you with me. Let’s guide and support one another. So, we can have less stressed out moms and more joy and purpose in our lives.
To start, we will be looking at ways to:
Find what really matters to you
Focus on and improve in the areas of your life that are the most important – your relationship with God, your marriage, parenting, your health, body, and mind.
Move forward, even when you don’t know exactly where you’re going
Making progress instead of waiting for perfection
Finding joy in everyday life
Creating habits and routings that make daily living easier
Let’s move from a state of overwhelm to fulfillment. I know I’m ready. How about YOU?!
If any of this sounds like you, let me know. If this is what you’re looking for, let me know. Is there a specific area in your life that makes you feel overwhelmed? Do you know what is causing you overwhelm? Or do you feel overwhelmed, but you don’t know WHY or How to fix it? Are you searching for Fulfillment?
Tell me about it. Leave me a comment. Or send me an e-mail.
